A teenage activist who campaigned for girls' education was shot and wounded in north-west Pakistan - the Taliban said they did it.Malala Yousafzai was attacked on her way home from school in Mingora, the region's main town.Doctors saved her. A Pakistani Taliban spokesman told the BBC they carried out the attack.
